15 BEST HOUSE TRACKS OF JUNE 2019

A pair of Roy Rosenfeld tunes stand as the melodic highlight of June.

Aside from two brilliant new tunes from Roy Rosenfeld, June of 2019 was highlighted by top releases from Dosem, Kaz James, KiNK, Camelphat, and more. But what really stood out this past month was yet another genre-defying cut from the man known as Channel Tres. Not a dull moment in the chart this month so get involved and press play.

1. “THE BIGGEST HEART” – ROY ROSENFELD [TRYBESOF]

In case you missed it a few months ago, Lee Burridge took flight on his Essential Mix with this magnificent tune by Tel Aviv’s own, Roy Rosenfeld.

2. “YOUR NEXT STATION” – DOSEM [ANJUNADEEP]

All three tunes on Dosem‘s Stay True EP are stunning especially this particular beauty which takes me back to the days when progressive house was the law of the land.

3. “SEXY BLACK TIMBERLAKE” – CHANNEL TRES [GODMODE MUSIC]

Since early 2018, Compton’s own, Channel Tres has been turning house music upside down one tune at a time with his g-funk brand of house music.

4. “LADIES DRUMMING” – EMANATE [MIOLI MUSIC]

San Francisco’s hardest-working duo, Emanate turned out a trio of tunes for their Furthermore EP and a fruit from that labor happens to be this deeply captivating tune titled, “Ladies Drumming.”

5. “THROUGH YOUR LOVE” – KAZ JAMES FEAT. MR.ID & KAWTAR SADIK [FFRR]

Premiered as Pete Tong‘s coveted Essential New Tune in Miami back in March, this Afro house anthem finally sees the light of day and it’s not expected to go away anytime soon.

6. “HALOMOT” – ROY ROSENFELD [TRYBESOF]

The b-side to “The Biggest Heart” is pretty glorious as well with it’s cinematic soundscape and twirling melodies.

7. “TO LOVE YOU” – KINK FEAT. RACHEL ROW [RUNNING BACK]

Hot on the heels of his last artist album, KiNK returns to the singles business with a piano-house driven E.P. appropriately titled, Piano Power

8. “BE SOMEONE” – CAMELPHAT X JAKE BUGG [RCA]

At the beginning of this month, dance music’s best bet, Camelphat along with none other than Jake Bugg dropped this seductive chart-topper titled, “Be Someone.”

9. “SKADI” – SEBASTIÉN LÉGER [LOST MIRACLE]

Sébastien Léger kicks off his brand new imprint, Lost Miracle with this drop-dead, melodic beauty. Also included on the E.P. is another smashing one titled, “Forbidden Garden” with a fabulous Tim Green remix to go along with it.

10. “IT’S LIKE THAT (SEBASTIEN LEGER REMIX)” – SERGE DEVANT [FLYING CIRCUS]

Serge Devant‘s original is one smooth dance tune but Sébastien Léger‘s revision is just next level with it’s gorgeous, yet dizzying melodies which he weaves just so brilliantly.

11. “BUBBLES” – RICH NXT & EAST END DUBS [FUSE LONDON]

Quirky, wonky and yes, bubbly describes the second of two solid floor tunes on The Four Slip EP courtesy of London town residents, Rich NxT & East End Dubs.

13. “ALLES KLAR (FAT SUSHI REMIX)” – GALESTIAN [PERSPECTIVES DIGITAL]

14. “ALL THAT’S LEFT (PIANO DUB MIX)” – DAN ONLY [DIRT CREW RECORDINGS]

Berlin’s Dirt Crew Recordings invited Toronto producer, Dan Only back for another quality outing. Although, this time he brought five varied tunes including this floor-focused jam which is just as warm as freshly toasted bread.

15. “WHEN THE X DROPS” – ANDREAS HENNEBERG [BEDROCK]

Close your eyes and imagine a crowd busting some serious moves to this meaty floor tune courtesy of none other than Andreas Henneberg on the legendary Bedrockimprint.
